The URL of this web site is advertised widely to both prospective employers and recruitment agencies. We also submit regularly to all the major search engines and directories. The site aims to facilitate communication between its members and potential employers, family, friends and colleagues alike. We want this site to become 'the' community on www for the construction industry - WORLD-WIDE!

The site is not owned by a construction company or recruitment agency. We have no desire to be involved in any discussion or negotiations between our members and prospective employers.  There is NO introduction or consultation fee but an annual membership fee IS payable.

The site is designed to be 'open'. We do not offer any confidentiality of the information contained on this web site. The web is becoming an increasingly difficult place to guarantee confidentiality (with technology now being used to 'hack' and retrieve data from networks at an ever increasing rate (refer to FAQ)) and we don't want to promise something that we can't hope to deliver!

Before submitting your resume YOU must decide what information to include (for some ideas click here) - anyone will be able to see it. You may choose to 'hide' additional information behind a password protected 'door' (at extra cost) where you can include a photo, voice greeting or presentation of your recent work - even a video introduction!  You decide who gets the password!

We give you a 'site specific' e-mail address when you join (to protect against 'spamming' of your existing address) and should confidentiality be a great concern we'll act as an interface between you and visitors (passing on details of anyone wishing to speak with you).

This site doesn't offer advice on how to improve your golf swing! Membership does however, offer you:

	Unlimited use of our members only 'Conference Room' where you can share your news with other members and meet potential employers, colleagues and friends or family for a 'live' chat 24-7 - WORLDWIDE!
	Store (and share) your valuable specifications and other useful documents - using our constantly improving members only Reference Library
	Have an optional password protected space (additional charge) - limiting access to your more detailed and personal information (name, telephone number, address, full project list, references, etc.)
	Attend 'on-line' recruitment seminars and preliminary 'on-line' interviews with our sponsors using the Internet Conference Room
	Visit our Cafe, Library, Cinema and Disco!
	Use our Message Board to ask for help or advice from other members or to advertise job vacancies, sell your car or boat, etc. - whatever!
	Play games or visit our sport page and link to all the latest world, industry, sport, weather and health news
	Link to major newspapers, magazines and many other useful and interesting web sites
	Link to many job related web sites and help us by suggesting additional links!
	Make this your portal to the web!
We charge a basic annual membership fee of $50US. And, we hope that more companies looking for people will choose to sponsor the site - please read on!

Sponsorship

The aim of this site is to use the Internet to provide you with 24/7 access to the details of our members - all people working in the construction industry.  We encourage direct communication between you and them and provide you with a featured page on our site (and direct link to your corporate web site).  This web site is not owned by any construction company or recruitment agency and we have no desire to become involved in any discussions (or negotiations) between prospective employers and its members. 

We don't charge an introduction or consultation fee and we don't offer to match our members to your jobs (or take any part in your selection process). Sponsorship does however, offer you the following:

	Hold a recruitment seminar 'on-line' using our Conference Room or leave a presentation in the Work Room for our members to view later.  You may e-mail our members directly (or use the Message Board) to inform them of the date & time
	Invite any (or all!) of our members to attend an 'on-line' preliminary interview
	Have a direct link from this site to your own corporate web site
We need sponsorship funding to help further develop the site, to make it more attractive, more useful and to pay for advertising! We'd very much like to increase our sponsor list - and we are particularly keen to put our members in contact with companies who add 'value' to this site i.e. construction companies, recruitment agencies, equipment manufacturer's, hotel's, lawyer's, accountant's, etc.
