Vietnam I conducted a survey and refurbished an offshore Derrick / Pipelining

with the manufacturer of the Generator and the Client until completion
/ acceptance and resumed normal operations. Organised
and implemented a refurbishment program required to re-instate Electric
and Diesel driven welding machines (100 each) for a Top-side Module
project in West Java. Conducted
a Power Study Survey of the Padang Cement Company Electrical distribution
system recommending improvements, additions, alterations and provided
training to operations and maintenance personnel
on problem solving, operation of generators in parallel, load sharing,
load shedding, power factor correction and system response. 1994 - 1995 CLIENT

MANAGER Responsible
for the design, planning, equipment and material sizing / identification
/ procurement, installation /commissioning, supervision of all contractors
and personnel, electrical / mechanical scope of work including regulation
compliance at a Coal mine. Project
involved a Diesel Power Generation
plant 4.2 M.W. 6 KV / 20KV transmission, transformers, crushing plants,
pumping stations, workshops, stores and office centre. Lighting, air conditioning, all cabling plus terminations, main
switchboards / distribution panel design / manufacture / installation
to completion and operational service.
Provided
"on the job" training to Site personnel in all operations,
trouble shooting, fault finding, preventative maintenance and HSE /

Responsible
for the Installation / Commissioning involving Steam driven 27 M.W.
Turbine Generator Units to turn-key status. Supervision of all sub-contractors
and personnel working on a 24 hour rotation schedule,
design, planning, materials, solving interface problems, client coordination
and project monitoring ensuring regulation compliance / contract requirements
were satisfied to the Client’s approval. Project
included PLC, DCS, UPS, HV / MV / LV cabling, new Switch Gear, MCC’s,
distribution panels, transformers, transmission lines and distribution
to end-items. Client
coordination with Contractors required as new Steam Boilers were involved.
Preparation of job progress reports, Site Supervisor in-charge of safety
practices and procedures, all QHSE requirements coordinating with the
Client until acceptance. 1985 - 1993 PROJECT
